At KB Financial Solutions, we've done our best to create a web site that anticipates and satisfies our customer's needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at (817) 371-3495 or email kbfinancialsolutions@yahoo.com and one of our agents will help you.
Q: How much does this service cost?
A: Credit reports differ from one person to the other, and our pricing structure is designed to be fair and honest.
Q: Is this service legal?
A: Absolutely. We are licensed by the State of Texas and follow all state and federal laws.
Q: How do I get my credit reports?
A: We will get your reports from a third party. They will include all information from the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and Transunion). You will receive a new, updated report from each of the bureaus, along with the results of our disputes, approximately every 45 days.
Q: If I get something in the mail from the credit bureaus, what should I do?
A: Send all correspondence you receive from the credit bureaus to us ASAP by mail or you can bring it by to the office.
Q: Should I send information to you?
A: Mail or drop off at office. You may also e-mail us your information, however, most of the correspondence you will receive will be in a paper form.
Q: Should I send any information directly to the credit bureaus?
A: While you are in the program, we ask that you DO NOT send anything directly to the credit bureaus; nor do we want you to talk with them directly. This may negate our efforts and increase the time it takes for your credit score to improve.
Q: What about talking to creditors?
A: Always consult with us before talking with creditors, however, do not tell them that you are working with a credit restoration company.
Q: How long will it take to see results?
A: You should start seeing results in approximately 5 to 6 weeks. Be patient, this process is designed for long-term results, not an overnight "quick fix".
Q: May I apply for credit while this process is going on?
A: The general answer is "maybe". Each individual situation is different. Consult with us and we can advise you on what's best for your particular situation.
Q: Is it possible for a deleted item to be put back on my credit report?
A: Our goal is to have the information removed permanently from your credit history. Due to their failure to follow the law, the credit bureaus face a potential fine of up to $10,000 per line for putting deleted credit information back into your credit file.
Q: How soon will my credit score improve?
A: In most cases, your score will improve as soon as you are notified (by the credit bureau) of the removal of the negative information. Understand, however, that creditors have up to 60 days to report changes to your credit profile. The removal generally improves your scores as much as 29 points per item. But, this is also dependent on you having enough positive information in your credit file to begin with and that you are also making payments on any current open accounts or any accounts that you open during the process.
Q: What if I don't receive information in the mail?
A: If you have not received updates within 60 days after you sign up for the program, contact us immediately.
Feel free to contract us if you have any other questions.
